What happens when three dog-loving friends from Midcoast Maine get together over a lobster dinner?

They create lobster dog treats, of course.

With five dogs between us and plenty of eager taste-testers, we set out in 2023 to create something truly unique: Li'l Nugs Lobster Dog Treats. What began as a simple idea around the dinner table quickly became a passion for crafting wholesome, Maine-made treats that dogs love.

Our original batches were made entirely by hand rolling out dough and cutting each treat with pizza cutters into their signature irregular shapes. Today, we continue to make our treats in small batches using the same commitment to quality, simplicity, and local ingredients that inspired us from the start.

Our signature lobster treats feature lobster sourced from individual Boothbay Harbor lobstermen and lobsterwomen who harvest using traditional, sustainable methods. By partnering with local fishermen, we're able to bring an authentic taste of Maine directly to your dog's treat jar.

Every Boothbay Harbor Dog Treat is made with human-grade ingredients, limited-ingredient recipes, and no artificial ingredients, colorings, or preservatives. We keep our treats small and crunchy so you can reward your best friend often without overdoing it.

Each recipe is carefully crafted with simple, wholesome ingredients and made by hand right here in Maine.
